In this Privacy Policy we describe what data we collect when you use our services and/or products, why we collect them and what we do with them. We also inform you of your rights, who has access to your data and how long we keep your data. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING AND RETENTION PERIOD

Fundido Chocolatier collects and processes your data for the purposes listed below. We use both data that you provide to us and data that we collect ourselves (for example about your visit to our website). We retain personal data for the time needed to achieve a particular purpose, or for the time prescribed by law (e.g. for retention of accounting documents). They will be deleted from our database as soon as they are no longer needed for the purpose or if you have validly exercised your right to deletion. We make every effort to protect your data by password protection on our computers, restricted access and anti-virus software.

 

Executing your order

In order to execute your order, we need your surname, first name, e-mail address, address, delivery address, payment details, telephone number and in some cases your company name and VAT number. This enables us to deliver your order and keep you updated on its progress. We are required by law to retain data about your order for seven years.

 

Tastings and events

To perform our services, we need your surname, first name, e-mail address, address, payment details, your telephone number and optionally the address for the tasting or the event and/or your company name and VAT number. Regarding the invoices, we are required by law to retain data for seven years.

 

Newsletters

We send occasional newsletters to our existing clients or when given consent, possible new clients. We focus on topics such as sustainability, health, tasting chocolate and cooking, but also inform you about special offers, promotions and our novelties. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time directly through [email protected]. Otherwise, we retain your personal identification data for 2 years.

 

Contests

When you participate in a special promotion or contest, we ask for your name, address and e-mail address. This allows us to perform the action and announce the winner(s). This also enables us to measure the response to our promotional activities. We retain your personal identification data for 2 years or until you submit an objection via [email protected]

 

Reviews

We find the opinions of our visitors very valuable. If you want to leave a review on the website, you can choose whether you leave your name or you use a pseudonym.
